Environmental Health
The World Health Organization estimates that approximately 25% of the global burden of disease (17% in developed countries) is attributable to modifiable environmental factors, including physical, chemical and biological hazards that directly affect health and increase unhealthy behaviours. This corresponds to about 13 million deaths and 353 million Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALYs) that could be prevented every year by improving environmental management.
Health & Environment Consulting offers expert services for the following environmental health-related projects and activities:
- Health risk assessment and management.
- Health impact assessment.
- Environmental epidemiology.
